Chritmas gift fayre

Weeks of preparation definitely paid off today when we held our 1st Christmas Gift Fayre at PSC!

Having broached the idea of doing something a little different, I felt totally responsible for its success but I needn’t have worried!!

On what can only be described as a perfect November day, the skies were blue, the sea was calm and with barely any wind, there were plenty of people taking advantage of the free parking offered in the main car park, with swimmers, walkers aplenty popping in for teas, coffees, cakes and gift buying.

All stall holders, some of whom had never set foot in our club had a fantastic day, all agreeing that sales had exceeded expectations.

It was lovely chatting to people who were admiring our lovely club and view and the weather was so kind that some even sat outside to enjoy their refreshments.

I cannot thank everyone enough who helped prepare for this event making tables, arranging furniture, helping promote the event on social media, baking cakes and the wonderful members who tirelessly served everyone their refreshments from the galley and who were kept seriously busy for the whole 6 hours!

You know who you all are, thank you so much.
