What a very special night for us


As we remember what a night! ❤️🎹🎼🎉🍾🥳

For our annual laying up supper we chose to go to St Austell Golf Club – a new venue for us, so there was much anticipation…

The eagerly awaited event was attended by just under 70 members who in Stacey’s words “scrubbed up a treat” and certainly shone in their glitz and glamour party wear without a wetsuit or spray top in sight! 

The venue looked amazing with festive decorations aplenty and beautifully laid out tables. The DJ’s presence was a fabulous addition in his mock VW camper van with plenty of flashing lights to add to the party atmosphere.

At 7:30pm we were asked to take our seats and serving began of our delicious starters. Very soon, each table took their turns at the carvery where the food was both delicious and plentiful. I’m told the vegan choices were outstanding too.

Crackers were pulled, glasses were clinked, party hats were donned and jokes were told while enjoying our feast which was topped off with the delicious desserts.

Stacey took to the stage to say a few words which was warmly received by all.

The servers cleared our tables efficiently and the dancing began.

The DJ did a fabulous job of keeping the dance floor filled with dance tunes from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and much merriment was had by all.

A great time was had by all with many compliments flying around about the venue, food, DJ, and of course friends.

We really know how to enjoy ourselves both on and off the water! 🎉🍾🥳🎶🎵🎄💃🕺🪩🎉🥳
