Stuns’ls Sea Shanty Night
It started with one sentence.
Stacey said “I know a man who sings in a group” .
It so happens that that man, Mark, sings with the Cornish Sea Shanty group, Stuns’ls. We got our heads together and a social night at the sailing club evolved. A Tuesday in December was all that could be arranged, but that turned out to be a good decision. The clubhouse was decorated for a festive feel and the room was re-arranged. Thank you Pete B for your help.
On the night Stuns’ls set up their mics and speakers and the clubhouse soon started to fill with eager folk wanting an evening with a difference. I was unsure in the beginning how things would go, would people come, would a Tuesday be the wrong night.
I needn’t have worried.
What a great night at PSC once again with a full clubhouse. The singing was really good and gave a warm lift on a cold night, Thank you Stuns’ls.
Thank you to Stacey for being my ‘go between’.
Paddy took some pictures to capture the scene, some more by Stacey later on (See below) and we raised £92 for the RNLI.
