PSC Christmas Laying up supper 2025

Our annual laying up Christmas party was held on Saturday December 13th at a new venue for us, The Seahorse at Pentewan so there was much anticipation…

The eagerly awaited event was attended by over 80 members who went to great lengths to shine in their glitz and glamour party wear without a wetsuit in sight! 

The venue looked absolutely amazing with festive decorations aplenty including several huge Christmas trees and comical snowmen. 

Trying desperately to drag everyone over for an obligatory photo before we sat down proved difficult with many not wanting to be dragged away from the bar area! 🍻🍷🍾

At 7:30pm we were asked to take our seats and serving began of our delicious starters. The main courses with side veg were tasty and plentiful and the medley of fruity, citrusy and chocolatey desserts were tantalising! Crackers were pulled, glasses were clinked, party hats were donned and jokes were told while enjoying our feast.

Stacey took to the stage to say a few words which was warmly received by all thanking yours truly for organising and welcoming our fellow friends and neighbouring sailing club Pentewan who joined us for the first time!

The DJ did a fabulous job of keeping the dance floor filled with dance tunes from many era’s.

A great time was had by all and it was joyous partying with our friends from Pentewan sailing club with many compliments flying around about the venue.

We really know how to enjoy ourselves both on and off the water! Here’s to an amazing 2026 both on and off the water! 🎉🍾🥳🎶🎵🎄💃🕺🪩🎉🥳
