Breast Cancer now Fundraiser Afternoon Tea

We raised a whopping £1080 at this hugely successful event held in beautiful sunshine at the clubhouse on Saturday! 🌟🌟🌟

Opening the doors at 2pm our team of PSC members were on standby to greet the customers who came flooding through the door!

Cakes, scones, quiches and a delicious assortment of  bakes were laid out and manned by Emma.

Books and soft toys created extra donations.

Teas, coffees and payments were expertly handled by Jenny, Andrew, Jo and Ken, whilst Clare, Isobel, Janet B., Janet P and Shelley and Tanya were kept extremely busy selling and organising raffle tickets.

Alex encouraged guesses of “how many teapots” to win a bottle of champagne whilst Stacey and Pete B helped to keep the event running smoothly wherever help was needed.

We had a veritable steady stream of queuing customers from the outset with tables full both inside and out and people sitting on the wall outside when seats weren’t available. Just before 4, the Auction was held which was an amazing success with very generous bids for fabulous prizes!! 🏆🏆

This was followed by the raffle with loads of amazing prizes being won!

So many people attended this event and collectively raised over £1000 which certainly surpassed expectations! It certainly shows how preparations and social media advertising really pays off!
