tasar Thank you curry night

When John and Rachel Hancock suggested the Tasar Fleet could throw a Thank You Curry Night for all those who made the Tasar Nationals the amazing success it was, never could we have imagined the Banquet Extraordinaire which John and his fabulous team of helpers would prepare!🥘🍛

Beef Rendang, Grilled Squid, Tandoori Gobi, Kari Ayam, Massala, Noodles, Poppadoms and Chutneys were just a few of the delicious and varied plates on offer. 🥘🍛

There were so many comments about the amazing flavours and something new that the club had not enjoyed before!

John had fantastic support from Rachel, Sarah Desjonqueres and Justine in the kitchen for hours and hours before and during the evening. Paddy joined in tossing poppadoms to perfection and Michael and Justine helped to organise the clubhouse. 

Words are not enough to express the delicacies and flavours that John had created but hopefully as the photos will show, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. 

It was topped off by delicious Magnums provided by Suzanne. 🍦🍦

A fun nautical  quiz added to the excitement and the winning table received a bottle of red wine donated by Pete K. Whilst all enjoyed the quiz and general banter Richard did an amazing job of clearing tables and washing up- thank you Richard!🤩

Let’s not forget why the Curry Night was held…

It was a “Thank You” for all those involved in the Tasar Nationals 2024! ⛵️⛵️ Stacey and I said a few words after we had eaten to recap the amazing event we had pulled off! 🌟

Many of us are still buzzing from it and we can surely be proud to be part of such an amazing club where team spirit really is the order of the day! 🌟

I won’t try and list here all those who made it happen for fear of missing anyone out but needless to say if you were part of the organisation of the Tasar Nationals we thank you! 🌟🌟🌟
