PSC Tonys fun quiz night

On Saturday September 19th we had another one of Tony’s fun quiz nights which always attracts a large crowd of members and friends.

As ever, we excelled ourselves with the array of delicacies for the buffet table and after a brief announcement by yours truly, everyone tucked in with plates piled high.  After the savouries there was a wonderful selection of sweet treats enjoyed by everyone 🍰🧁

Then, Tony warmed up our competitiveness with an unexpected game of swing the ball strategically placed between the legs and bash down the skittle course. Of course,  Tony timed all of this and it was a game of great hilarity.

After a thirst quenching mini break Tony began the quiz which was an interesting mix of 40 general knowledge questions. In the end 2 teams tied at the number 1 spot so were challenged to a tie-breaker!

And amazingly …  I actually knew this one,  which was ….

“In which country are The Angel Falls?”

“Venezuela” I shouted out and our team including Clare, Alex, Stacey, Emma, Sarah and Paddy were victorious and we shared out our prize of a tub of chocolate Heroes. 🏆
