TIN CAN ALLEY TRIUMPH!
On a balmy September evening the clubhouse filled with members and friends eager to participate in a night of fun and games.
As always, and doing what we do best, a veritable feast of delicious savouries and sweets was assembled and soon the buffet was open. As we ended our meal, Tony took over the proceedings by asking us to get into teams of 4 in readiness for the games.
Rules explained, demonstrations complete the first team took to the Tin Can Alley.
Everyone took their turn to knock down as many cans as possible and much hilarity just added to the ambience. The eventual winners (yours truly, Pete K, Michelle and Derren) were presented with a tub of chocolates!
After a short interval when glasses were refilled, Tony explained the next challenge! He made it look very easy!!
Unless you were there, never could you imagine the tears of laughter, the fits of uncontrollable giggles and the infectious fun that filled the room when team members tried (some much more successfully than others!) to balance 4 large yoghurt pots on top of each other and carry them a short distance without dropping!
I have never seen so many people laughing at such a simple game! Honestly it was hilarious with Pete Barnes and Jeremy topping the Bill with their performances! In the end the winning team (yours truly again ! 😆, Dave S, Nicky and Tony) was presented with a tub of Haribo’s.
We all had an amazing night and heartfelt and huge thank you’s to Tony for organising with Paul H assisting with the assembly of the Tin Can Alley.
Thank you to everyone making it another PSC fabulous social🎉🎉🎉🤩🤩🤩
